Payment is due at the completion of your visit. We may ask for a deposit for hospitalized patients. Our fees are based on AVMA guidelines. Estimates are available upon request, understanding that circumstances can change unpredictably.
1. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard) and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
2. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. Stony Plain Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through Paybright or the Petcard program.

Our policies are designed to reflect our desire to offer the highest quality care and customer service possible.
Appointments are recommended. Walk-ins are welcome but unless it is an emergency, you will be scheduled in around our regular appointments. Dropoffs are welcome and your pet will be examined by the veterinarian, after which you will be contacted with his/her findings.
For the safety and comfort of all our clients, all pets must be on a leash or in a pet carrier. We will be happy to provide you with one if required.
For the safety of pets and staff alike – discharges are during regular office hours only. All pets are discharged under the supervision of a veterinarian or animal health technician.
We are more than willing to discuss any concerns you have about your pet’s health, but we are unable to diagnose or treat a patient’s illness without performing an examination.
