Echocardiography
Echocardiography is a non-invasive procedure that evaluates the structure and function of the heart in real time. This is a highly specified diagnostic tool that helps veterinarians determine the extent and/or type of heart disease the patient has. We gather these images in clinic and send them through telemedicine for a full assessment by a cardiologist. SPVC is proud to be one of the few clinics in Alberta to offer this service.

Rehabilitation
Rehab can be utilized for a variety of cases including prevention and management of arthritis, pain control post and pre surgical, non-surgical injuries, ensuring strength and mobility in the athlete patient and neurological rehabilitation (i.e. vestibular or IVDD patients). Our registered physical therapist Miranda Shumborski works along side our veterinarians to provide the best possible care for those difficult orthopedic/neurological cases.
